There is a flat place on the bell housing just behind the engine. That is where I jack the front wheels on my C. Of course you can't do that with the belly mower. With the mower on there, you'll have to do it the one wheel at a time way, running one wheel up on a board. If you jack under the middle, be sure everything is stable and the brakes are locked. Both front wheels are off mine now waiting on bearings. I set the front spindle back down on blocks after I got the wheels and bearings off. You can also use 6x6 wood cribbing under the rear axles instead of the pipe etc Andy Martin suggested. I would jack under the drawbar to lift the rear up and then crib under the axles. Or you could get some jack stands and put those under the axles. Your seat probably has badly worn bushings. I have the same problem, but have not investigated. I know the Ms need new rubber bushings when the get like that. I used to have a Woods mower on an IH 140. I rigged a board with heavy casters on it to put under the back side of the deck. With that and the gage wheels, I could roll it out from under the tractor. Those mowers are heavy to handle though. A "C" should work great with a Woods on it!

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
