Is the tractor new to you?
Was the tractor recently serviced?
Did it work fine, and then suddenly one day develop this problem?
ok i had the engine overhauled about 200 hours ago the guy sent my old clutch and pressure plate out to a rebuilder also replaced the throwout bearing. it was close to the bottom prior that slowly getting hard to get in gears. i crawled under and had another look last night the fork that bolts to the cross shaft looks like its been spread apart some how theres a big gap between it and the throw out bearing carrier so im thinkigs its a combination of all the slop looks it going to to have to have another fork before long thanks for all your help guys. I dont guess theres a chance of getting the cross shaft unbolted and out from the fork with out splitting the tractor ?
