The steel wheels bring back some not so fond memories as I cultivated vegetables with one in the 50's. The H with a narrow steel needs a single front wheel for 20 inch rows. I was always glad when we put tires on to do tillage. then I could use 5th on smooth ground. With steel I had to use 4th in soft ground beside the road to keep from shaking me and the tractor to death. It won't even turn the wheels in 5th.
