Have had these for years, both have the "power-pack" engine with the larger head and increased bore. Both dyno at 65HP pto and they both walk circles around my stock Super M when chopping corn. Interested in hearing from anyone having or liking them. I did cosmetic restorations a few years back, and was lucky enough to find accurate decals that also actually say "USA" on them. The only complaint I have with the SWD is that it takes massive effort to steer unless you are in higher gears, it's hard to keep it in a furrow at faster plowing speeds(no matter how deep), the pedals are awkward to operate, and its 30" rubber spins out very easy in loose soil, even with loaded tires and multiple weights. Whereas both my SM and SMDTA 38" rubber bites quite well in the same soil doing the same work. I have since removed the WD's original seat assembly, and installed one from an H. Had to cut the spring shorter, but the result was that you sit up a lot higher and have better leverage to steer, and it's easier to operate the pedals. It also has the M&W clutch add-on that in-effect gives me a semi-live PTO, handy while baling and chopping.
