Yes,(like all others are saying).
They do touch the U bar when in the FULLY lowered position,but it does not affect me using ANY of my implements.They all seem to go as deep as needed.
One thing that does make it a little easier to hook up to my Bush Hog,I leave the deck sitting on 6"x 6" post.(Keeps it off of the barn floor.) I can still hook it up without using the post,but it makes it a little easier.
