This is really true. When I bought my Super H, it had mismatched 12.4 x 38`s on it. One was a Firestone Field & Road, the other a CO-OP long bar/short bar (Goodyear made ?). The Firestone was noticeably smaller in diameter and width than the CO-OP. The tractor didn`t sit level, it leaned down on the Firestone side. I lucked out this past spring and found a nearly new, matching CO-OP with the nubs on it yet at a local salvage yard for $200. Other than the fact I don`t really care for the looks of the long/short bar tire, I think the 12.4 X38 size is all the bigger I would want, the 13.6 is a lttle too much tire for a Super H in my opinion. I don`t think you`ll find a big difference in cost between the 2 sizes (12.4 probably a little cheaper)and get them from your local dealer.
