I live near St. CLoud and use a Farmall 450 (gas, wide front, live PTO, 3 point conversion, loader)for hobby farm use including maintenance for a few thousand christmas trees. It's a good, reliable machine that starts easily in the cold. I have found parts and advice easy to get. Only drawback is it's a big tractor.
