In 1955, IH came out with the hundred series. On the big tractors you could have up to three hydraulic remotes if you didn't opt for fast hitch. Most of the 300/400/350/450/460/560 tractors I come across have 2 remotes plus fast hitch, or three remotes.
When they came out with the '06 series, IH took a step backward. Two remotes was the limit from the factory, and many only came with one. Our 756 Farmall (not Custom) only had one remote until Dad installed a second one in the 1980's.
