two different sizes/pitman arms

hi i have a question about my 300 utility i had
to change the both tie rods last night on the steering arms at the pitman arms both sides upon
discovering that the two pitarms are not the same
as the pass side bent taller and higher than the
drivers side as this is more wider and lower
is this correct or has this been replaced ,if so which one is the correct so i can fix the problem
