You do not have to remove the rims if you have someone come out and remove it for you....And there is a special tool,they are like crowbars, the tire guy that came and took my tire off used about 3, and you jaw them between the tire and rim,and pry the tires off, it's like a bike tire... If this helps great, if it doesn't, I geuss I'm a bad explainer.... 8-)
