Wheatlands are also known as Standard tractors. Like standard tread width rather than an adjustable row crop tractors (aka H or M) The 650 is just an updated WD-9. Same size, few more ci, live hyd, etc. They were for the wheat areas where tractors mostly did drawbar work instead of cultivating and hay work.
Just like the M-SM-400-450-560 progression you have the WD-9 then SWD-9 then 600d then 650d then 660d (Drop the d and you would have a gas tractor) They also had rice versions of the tractors that had a few different options. Do some Googling on that. They are pretty cool.
