Ya have to remember that this carb is a UP DRAFT carb , now if the gas is running out on the floor and making a puddle with a non stop drip or stream you will find some gas in the choke horn . when you shut the engine the gas that is going up the manifold stops going up when the piston that is drawing up stops and that gas will fall back down and it will drip out the weep hole in the bottom of the carb and it will make a spot on the floor or dirt . But if you enjoy taking it apart and putting it back on thinking that it is not wright you will get better at it each time .
