Nebraska test #329 had the 1939 A produce 16.8 pto hp, 12.3 drawbar hp. In Guy Fay's book it says that the A and Super A were the same bore and stroke. Increased bore (C-123) didn't come along until 1954 in the Super A-1. Same engine a the Super C whitch made 23.7 pto-hp and 20.7 db-hp in Neb. #458 in 1951. A 5 ft. Haas' advice on the overrun pto is a necessity with a bushhog. Good luck and keep use posted.
