could be.. but I'd do some diagnostics first.
for a miss like that.. i always check spark first. it's free and easy.
once you know you have GOOD consistant spark on all plugs.. look at the miss. is it random.. or repeatable. if it is on a set pattern.. check for a missing cyl by pulling a wire and replacing and moving down the line. 1 may make less difference.
if random.. check fuel.. look for water droplets.
as for the HG.
is she steaming? loosing water? getting oily sheen in water?
gettng water in oil?
combustion pressure in rad?
any plugs steam cleaned?
any plugs look like they are fouling? ( soot, oil, etc.. )
