Generally speaking (there are exceptions) during the letter series time frame, 1: all Farmall tractors were row crop tractors (officially called McCormick Farmall or McCormick Deering Farmall) 2: all McCormick or McCormick Deering tractors were wheel type or standard type farm tractors and 3: all International tractors (officially McCormick International of McCormick Deering International) were industrial tractors. For example in your size tractor, the Farmall H is a row crop tractor, the McCormick W-4 is a standard type or wheel type tractor, and the International I-4 is a industrial tractor. Likewise the Farmall M row crop, McCormick W-6 wheel or standard tractor, and the International I-6 industrial tractor. The A was built as a Farmall A row crop tractor and the International A industrial tractor. It basicly held till the early or mid 70's that all row crop tractors built by International Harvester Company were Farmalls and after the late 50's all standard, wheel, or industrial tractors were called International. All this applies to the USA only. Harold H
