Did some plowing last night after dinner with my favorite SH and 2 bottom plow. About 2 acres of corn stalks, blocked up 3 times, lift wheel kept wanting to skid on the damp leaves, and tail wheel went flat without me even noticing in the dark. lol How did my Dad and Grandpa ever get the plowing done each fall ! From 53 til 63, this very rig is what they used to plow half or more of the 200 acres. It sometimes took them 3 weeks or more ... Makes me respect how hard the old timers worked on these machines !
