I have a Cub that I bought a couple of years ago. I had the same problem with it when I first got it. Were I found the problem was in the inlet hole of the sediment bowl. Rust would break loose in the tank and plug up the hole cutting down the flow of gas. The first thing I did was to take the gas tank off and rinse it out. When it happened again, I took a piece of wire and stuck it down the fill hole into the sediment hole, cleaned it out and then cleaned out the sediment bowl.
