Don't put down pink tractors too much. Back in the 1960's a neighbor up the road tried to get his wife to help with field work in one of those late wet springs. She said she'd help if she had a pink tractor to drive. I believe it was an Oliver 1660 which got painted by that afternoon. Liz was true to her word & ran that tractor for many years. They called it the Pink Lady. Still in use. He had 2 girls & he wondered if they would want to paint the 4 machine shed doors [facing the road]. They said they would paint the doors if they could pick out the colors. That was O.K., so to this day, there is a purple, pink, orange, & blue door on that shed.
