i have 1952 Model B, I just bought this tractor about year ago, it was fair shape and fair condition. Right now, so far, i just got this tractor transmission fixed, new water pump ,new radiator, good clutch, rebuild generator, rebuild carburater everything is done what is need to be fix. i have one problem about this tractor, this tractor smokes but not a lot. the compression read about 80 lbs. It start easy. does that mean it need new rings, or it just old engine or something else? this engine have not been rebuilt. if that tractor need ring, should i put the new ring on piston that came out this trator and put it back in ? I really don't want take this tractor apart to get it rebuild because it runs real good , have no backfires and no missing and don't use alot of oil and oil pressure reads between med and high. what should i do? do you think I should leave it alone? Thanks for a help.
