That is a Cross valve. They usually have a relief valve built in. Should be a round cap with about a 1 inch hex to the left of the valve spool. Can't see well enough to tell if it is there or not. If it has one it is probably set to about 2000 psi. I would back it off and bring the pressure up to no more than 1200 psi as that is about what these pumps were rated for. That way you don't break something expensive. Used the same valve set up on my M for many years.
