My MD was surging on the diesel side as previously described in "MD problem". Took it on a 15 mile drive to try to clean it out (and gave it a bath) and when I got back I noticed it was leaking oil on the gas side. Pulled the dipstick to see if the oil was down and instead found that it had mysteriously made oil instead. The oil appeared to have leaked out from the valve cover gasket. I assume that the apparent problem with the injector pump may be causing it to dump fuel into the oil? Any suggestions as to the likelihood of this? My local IH dealer gets a blank look on when asked questions about MDs and is no help. Any help appreciated.
