I have owned a 574 gas for about 10 years. It is a great loader tractor. I mow a secondary yard with it--its fine, Just stay off of it when wet, don't turn real sharp. I do not think it is a real good field tractor, disking, planting ETC. For "loader tractor" stuff can not be beat.

$10,000 is high, I paid $6500. for mine 10 years ago. I do not think it has gone down in value at all. In S.E. Iowa I see them from $5500---$8000. Condition means everything.
The wife will love it--the only tractor my wife has ever been willing to operate. She hauls mulch, black dirt and alot of garden and flower garden waste with it.
Try to get them down in price. Best of luck.
