I am picking up a tractor in a few weeks that has been on my wife aunt's property under a tree since the mid 60's. After looking at it today. I believe it's a late 30's farmall, maybe a f-20 or f-30. IT has a 4cyl over head valve motor, the uniques thing that pointed me to farmall. Is, it has a narrow front end and the steering shaft goes parallel over the hood and it's level, as opposed to angled up. than there's a gear at the top of the hood to turn the wheels, The wheels also looked like wheels with spokes. I didn't notice a starter, but did notice the crank sticking out of the front of the engine. I also noticed on the steering shaft, near the wheel were 2 levers, one looked like mechanical advance for the distributor. I measured the back wheels and across the back wheels measure about 7 feet. How can I determine the model and where can I find the serial number. I'm excited to get it home in a few weeks. I'll have some pics of it tomorrow. Thanks, Nick
