Congratulations on the 1466. What a beautiful tractor! I know that you want your tractor to look great, and a new paint job is just the ticket. If possible, I would suggest holding off with the paint job until next winter. That will give youi a whole season of use to identify all of the oil leaks and other little things that need fixing. If you get those things out of the way first, you will be able to give it a better paint job. Of course, if you are sure that your tractor is in perfect mechanical condition now, then by all means go ahead and paint it.
