SMTA Carburator

Perhaps I need a course in Carburator 101. in this carburator next to the idle jet is a small hole(at least in the bottom) labeled by the I&T manual as the "main air bleed" On mine it looks like there is brass in a hole and a smaller one drilled in it. How big should the hole be? Still having trouble with overfueling at startup. floods badly even without using choke and when cold. Changed float, needle and seat and idle jet along with galgets. Have had it apart and blown out every hole I can find and run wires through them all and still frustrated. Need a quick disconnect carburator mount I think
