Try installing the bowl -- tight. Then turn on the gas valve, no or little gas will seep into the bowl. Loosen the bowl untill it fills, overflows and runs down your arm. tighten bowl. If the bowl will not seat leak free at this point, get a new gasket from the local auto supply store. If you can get a good flow out of the tank,but she still won't run good enough to pull, then look for gunk in the carb.
