Why such heavy gear oil. As I recall as a kid we never put anything in except 80-90 and disk and plowed all day in the hot summer sun. If you think you have to add something to oil to make it better maybe you don't trust your oil to be any good. Oil today is a lot better and the series of tractors ahead of them went to hydualic oils in the tranny and rearend. Lighter yet.
