I put 12 volt lights on my 300 recently. I ran a wire from the ammeter to a toggle switch, a wire from the toggle switch to an inline fuse holder and then I branched it out to the three lights. I also ran a ground wire from each light base down to a bolt on the tractor chassis since the ground through the sheet metal didn't work very well. There is also a light bulb under the little cover above the dash, it needs to be changed to a 12v bulb and have the wire run over to the where the rest of the lights branch out. You don't want to hook the lights directly to the alternator, as far as I know. Zach
