The Farmall B-450 is an excellent and very rare tractor in the USA. Buy it and you will not regrett it. However, you will be much more satisfied if you get rid of all of the Lucus electrical components. You can convert the starter to Delco and the generator to a modern alternator. However, most importnt, there are conversion kits available to convert the glow plugs which will give you much more reliable strting, even if you leave everything else Lucus.
Many components will exchange with SM, 400, 450's but many are unique British. The Farmall B-450 was only sold in Texas and the Southeast, although a few did get scattered to other parts of the US.
The ones sold in the Misissippi Delta gave excellent service but were quickly outgrown as equipment and power requirements grew larger fast in the 60's.
