Had the same problem on my A but wheel was so badky cracked that it used to cut my hands all to heck. Black crud and sticky blood. Pull the wheel, scrub it down w/ detergent and one of those green scrubber things ( you want to remove any loose dead rubber), dry it out behind the wood stove a week or so, fill/ reshape w/ PC-7 epoxy, sand to shape, paint w/ any good black paint. You want a good heavy buildup of paint for durability. This is gonna get a lot of wear. How long will it last? Dunno-- two years and so far so good.
