I have an M parts manual. It shows an axiliary valve as special equipment that was used with the belly pump. don't know if the one on the MTA would be the same or not since the MTA has live hydraulics. The one on M mounted on the side of the tractor so that the fluid returned into the belly pump fill opening. The valve was supported on the hard piping into the fill opening. It had a control rod that mounted next to the regular belly pump control rod and had a bracket for support of the control rod mounted on the belly pump control rod support. There are no seals shown on the control lever shaft. The only seal is an O ring on the control valve plunger itself. I've never seen on of these on an M, but would sure like to find one. It appears to be a two way self centering valve. It looks like the MD I have originally had one of these, because it has the extra piping in the return, the bracket for the control rod and the special longer dip stick in the lift all unit. Anybody have more info on these control valves??
