While going through some stuff today I ran across this one-gallon can of Hy-Tran Fluid. It is noted to be for; "All weather use", although it does not show what weight the fluid is. It states, on the can: "For best performance and maximum life - use hy-tran fluid in IH tractor transmissions, tractor hydraulic systems, farm equipment, industrial equipment." It does contain a warning that indicates that the fluid contains: "tri-aryl phosphate". I believe that was a flame retardant and was fairly toxic to the eyes. Stamped on the can is the number: 372-704-R4, which I assume is IH's manufacturer number.
