tlak, I had my 1946 Farmall A for sale priced at $2,000, I lowered it to $1,600 and still no takers, it has new rubber and been re-done. I was even willing to throw in a IH manure spreader at $2,000 but still no one wanted it. I guess it depends on what part of the country your in and how bad you want that type of tractor or will willing to pay. $1,000 is cheap for an A if it's running and has straight sheet metal :o) even if it's not running that pretty cheap if it only need minor work :o)
