I believe an M would have been 14" bottoms and a Super M would have been rated with 16" bottoms.
That said, I've pulled 3-14's with two different Super Ms on Dad's farm and it's all either tractor wanted in 2nd gear. On the hills you're down in 1st and lifting the plow out of the ground just to make it without running out of power.
