Hi Gary, The only time you would want to increase your oil storage capacity is when the oil temp was high, as thinning down the hydraulic oil will cause the pump to put out less pressure. What you might do is check for a hyraulic filter inline and see if it's pluged causing less pressure. If on a new system with little wear, then hy-tran would work just fine. Any IH dealer carry's it. If the system is older and the pump is worn then use a heavy weight oil, like 30wt motor oil or rebuild the pump. To drain the system find the lowest drain plug and drain from there. T_Bone
