Jim, I didn't laugh, and I assume yours was a serious question. Good for you! Safety is a serious matter. Wouldn't it be remarkable if a newby provided a helpful safety service for the rest of us? In that light, and in all seriousness, how about installing the device...and then on flat terain, cautiously jacking the tractor to the point it nearly tips, while closely watching the indicator. You would, of course, provide some method to restrain the tractor from actually tipping...and work as safely as possible. I think we would all be interested in the results of such a test. I don't know what a margin of safety should be...I'll leave that to others. (I vote for a large margin)
