JB, we solved the problem on an H, an A, a Super C and a Cub by buying a new rubber gasket from the IH dealer. Costs about a dollar. First, try to get the new seal in on top of the loose old one before you take it out. They should fit nice and tight after you install the new seal. Also, make sure the air vent is not plugged up. If it is, open it.
