I have no problem whatsoever with combining the GOOD parts from several different, derelict, will never run again, tractors, cars, etc., and assembling them all into one very useable machine. The American farmer has been doing that very thing for several generations now and quite a few of those creations made a real impact in the agriculture industry. If it weren't for a certain blacksmith/tinkerer named Cyrus McCormick, we may not have the modern combine of today.
I also do not have a problem with installing a Chevy V8 engine into a Farmall M with an original engine that is just total scrap iron, but I DO have a problem when I see a Farmall 300 that runs just fine and is a fine looking tractor with relatively LOW production numbers, turned into a tractor that looks just like any other Farmall H of which 350,000 were produced and most of them still exist.
