Hello All, The alternator has gone out on my 454. I have been working since before Christmas to try to get it off. It is a project as it has a loader and had to remove a bracket to access the alternator. Now everything is loose but the lower pivot bolt it goes thru a sheild bracket thru the alternator housing engine housing and has a nut on the back to hold some type of condenser ? This bolt seems to be stripped anyone have an idea how to get it out, it turns but tightens up then loosens and dosent seem to move. Also it seems someone put a ac delco on innplace of a Lucas alternator. thanks in advance Harry
