I'm sorry, could you speak up? Seriously, yeah I've noticed it's a little loud (!) But it sounds really good under a load -- No Green Machine sounds like that! So I do wear my ear plugs. After a career in the Marine Corps, I gotta protect what little is left (You think a muffler-less M is loud, try standing next to a 155 howitzer all day!) Good safety tip, gents, thanks. So then, there's no compelling mechanical reason to run a muffler?

Memories of an IH Super A When I was ? up to 10, I worked on my Papaw's farm in Greeneville, TN every summer. As I grew older (7), it was the thrill of my day to ride or drive on the tractor.
