Sorry heat houser if the drive housing is over greased, grease would be forced up the distributor shaft or past the hydraulic pump seal. That is if a gasket or something else didn't give first. Distributor shaft grease hole on the left in the picture has a hole on the other side that grease will come out of when it gets all it will take. Thats very little. Long needle tip on a grease gun is handy to grease the drive gear housing. Stick it through the hole and when the grease gets high enough it will start back out the hole around the grease tip.
