I have the best luck putting the throttle at idle and count to 60 then crank the engine holding the glow plug button. Ive woked on many over the years and if you have decent glow plugs, fresh fuel and compresion it should start. Unlike the 460 diesels that came new from the factory with a log chain in the tool box that had a part number on it. Most guys had to replace the chain once a year!!
