Denny: I made the other post saying thanks. I had an uncle who worked in a Chicago plant where engines were made during the late 50's. He took me on a tour of it back then on a nonworking day. I'll bet that was Melrose Park. It was a very interesting tour. Harold H wrote a story about the various factories for the Red Power mag last spring. Check it out. It was also good reading. Back in the 40's and 50's there was a bit of a different mind set in building things. Henry Ford wanted control of every aspect from the foundry to the showroom floor. Somewhat true with IHC I suppose. harvey
