The clutch is much harder to push than a Ford. In one of the series larger than yours there was a hydraulic assist on the pedal! The clutch is designed to not be a weak point. Shifting is to be done stopped at idle. The trans fluid is thin HYtran, and doesn't stop the rotating mass as well as thick 90 wt. I think the tire has fluid in it. They slosh. Jim
