The temp. gauge was not offered as as standard equipment or an additional option for the F-12 when they were a current production model. Temp. gauges were offered as a factory option for the F-14. IH offered a kit to equip the F-12 and F-14 with a temp gauge after they stopped producing the F-12. The kit included: a gauge, mounting bracket, and new water elbow equipped wtih a threaded hole for the sensor. Hope this helps.
