I found the "real" problem. Actually there are/were two issues. First of all the on/off switch works about half the time. I'm thinking the sudden shutdowns are caused by that. I mean it shuts off just like you pushed the switch in.But just in case I had replaced the points and condenser. Now the reason why it would not start , dumb me allowed the connector on the condenser to make contact with the housing thus I had a short so no fire from the coil.I have a new switch on order.Now my problem is back to throttle control. I think I should pull the Governor and rebuild all the internal linkage-it really doesn't operate smoothly at all. Bud
