Come-on you guys the play you are describing is caused by excesive play in the drive coupling. The drive coupling is located in the cavity right behind the clutch and bell housing. The splines in the shafts and the yoke get worn and the tapered bolts also get worn. In addition, there are rubber washers that act as cushions on the tapered bolts. They deteriorate and fall out. DON'T FOOL WITH YOUR CLUTCH, there's nothing wrong with it. Hope this helps
