H gas tank

I am trying to remove the gas tank from a 43 Farmall H which has been sitting in a field for several years. The nut started to come lose and then the bolt started to turn. Looking inside the tank, there is what appears to be a tower where each of the 3 bolts are. Am I going to damage anything if these bolts turn? Also, are the right and left rear fenders on the H interchangeable (I am missing one)? Will fenders from the M fit on to the H? Just starting the restoration on this one, so I will probably be asking alot of questions! Thank you!
