I rewired my Super H using stranded type MTW machine tool wire. Stuff is cheap, heat- and oil-resistant, and easy to work with.

Made the harness by replacing one wire at a time alongside the old harness, then cutting the old harness away. Finished it off by wrapping the harness with friction tape (given to me by an old electrician - he had rolls of it in his truck). Finished harness looks almost like original except for where the wire ends run out of the wrapping. Whole job only took a couple hours start to finish.
