I pulled the seal with a slap hammer. It was chattered up pretty bad. New seal went in without a hitch. I don"t see any grooves on the shaft. Hopefully no more leakage. I replaced both brakes after cleaning the gear oil off the drum. They don"t bottom out anymore! Thank goodness for a winch or this would have been a PITA
